Testimonials from our clients

For over 14 years we’ve been working with Americans just like you that needed a better way to successfully get their debt under control and save themselves tens of thousands in interest or more on their debts. Our clients are  on track to get out of debt in a fraction of the time it would have taken and are on track for debt free life. Here are some of our clients that we have been honored to work with and serve.

First, I am very proud to serve my country and you are very welcome.

The biggest benefit for us enrolling in the program was structure, so we would have a plan that we could stick to. This program means freedom for our family.  The financial stress has significantly decreased due to the ease of the program.  It’s out of sight, out of mind.  We just factor in the twice per month payments into our budget, and we let it roll.  Credit cards are no longer part of our budget planning. Setting up the program was a breeze.  Making changes was nothing more than a simple e-mail to which we got a prompt response.

First of all, I have had nothing but a wonderful experience in dealing with you, you helped us out so much.  I am so glad you accepted us into this program- it is wonderful and I try and recommend it to everyone I know!

But most of all, I wanted to tell you how much I have appreciated Kelly.  She has been a tremendous help- with David having his hours cut and us having to reduce some things and move things around.  I feel like I have emailed her and had her adjust so much for us this year, she just takes care of it and lets me know it’s done.  I just wanted to take a minute to let you know how wonderful she is!!!  THANKS KELLY!!!

I hope that David and I can do as good for you guys as you have done for us!  Thank you!!!

Thank you,

Dear Christian,

Just wanted to share how effective your debt free payment system program has been for me. This past year has been huge for eliminating some of my debt. I’m so glad I don’t have to go thru all the brain damage trying to figure out who gets paid each month and how much. I simply provide my debt free payment systems with my budget and you guys take care of the rest. The program you folks outlined for me will have me debt free in four more years. Last year was my first year out of a five year plan and we paid off eight credit cards!

The whole process was so simple to initiate and very easy to understand. The amazing thing is how much interest is eliminated. The flexibility in the program is also very nice as the winter months are lean for me and being able to make adjustments to the program is also very helpful.

I’m sure the next four years will just fly by and we are looking forward to be debt free May 15, 2015.

Sincerely,

Mark

This program has absolutely reduced our stress. As busy as we are it’s easy to overlook due dates for one thing. When you miss the due date by even one day you’re subject to late fees and it can harm your credit score.

No worries now as long as we have the money in the bank on the 15th and 30th. You also get used to the budget aspect. When we pay off a bill it’s not like we just got a raise because we roll that over to pay another debt as quick as possible. It’s a good service.

The biggest benefit to enrolling in the program was ridding myself of the constant knot in my stomach. With a mortgage, 2 car loans & about 40K in credit card debt every month was getting harder & harder to make it through. I have a great job & make more than enough to cover our expenses, but hated budgeting & paying bills, so late fees begat higher interest rates and double payments turned into minimum payments. The worse it got, the more I avoided the situation. And as a result, my credit went from great to bad.

Not only did the people debt elimination program understand my situation, but they also made me feel better about it. I wasn’t the only one! And I was lucky because I could still make a change for the better. What? You not only help me payoff all my debt including my mortgage, but you also teach me how to budget & finance my life? I was skeptical, but my analyst walked through my finances, talked me through the program and I was convinced, this wasn’t some scheme or some quick fix, this was a life changing program. And almost 3 years later, it’s still true.

Hello Wendy,

I wanted to send you this email in recognition of how wonderful Kelly has been. My wife and I are committed to eliminating our debt and we are moving in the right direction largely because of Kelly. She is responsive, patient and very adept at problem solving.

I hope you folks give her a raise!

Sincerely,

Farhad A.

“We had a lot of debt and knew that we’d be spending the rest of our lives working on eliminating it. We heard about your program through a credit counseling agency. The plan that you presented was a much more aggressive plan than what they offered, and certainly more of what we wanted. I was surprised at first how simple becoming debt-free can be but now I’m a believer! My husband was skeptical also until he saw the debt plan and then he became as excited as I was!

The process of getting the plan in place went very smoothly. We are definitely satisfied with your helpful and knowledgeable analysts. Knowing that we are saving money each month AND getting out of debt even faster has given us greater comfort as we look to the future.  I would and have recommended your company to my friends. To anyone considering this I would say, GO FOR IT!!”

April C. of Claxton, GA

“We felt our debt was under control and we were competent in handling our finances, when we were suddenly faced with a merciless credit card company. They raised our interest rate a full 20% on a $30,000 balance, regardless of the fact that we always paid on time and made more than the minimum payment. Our credit rating has always been important to us.  I experienced a couple days of genuine despair. Now, all our extra money would be going to that company and I couldn’t stand that thought.

A debt consolidation company referred us to you and within a week everything was back under control and (the) plan made me ecstatic. Everything processed quickly and I felt back on top.  At first we thought it sounded too good to be true. We’d always wanted to do something like this. We read everything, asked tons of questions, and everyone was very nice in giving us the answers. Still, we kept thinking, ‘What’s the catch??’ Your team kept answering our concerns patiently, plainly, and simply. We were thrilled–very happy– to finally internalize that our goal of becoming financially independent CAN become a reality!

The greatest benefit has been knowing that our money is being applied to every debt in a timely and efficient manner. We’ve always wanted to pay down our debt with extra money added to our payments, but could never pull it off because we didn’t have the capital to do it. I have recommended and will continue to recommend people to your company.  I do landscaping and gardening and my husband is a carpenter. We live out in the boonies on 5.5 acres and at this moment we are sitting outside eating smoked salmon and crackers, enjoying this perfect 80-degree day.  Our children are grown and live in FL and we are considering moving down there. In ten years our debt will be all gone–hallelujah!! Our debt plan is our ticket south, literally!”

Candace M. of Moultonborough, NH

“Before we found you, our debt ratio was high, but we still had good credit and I wanted to keep it that way. I work for a bankruptcy attorney and I see what happens when things get out of control every day. Bankruptcy was not an option for me and I knew there must be an intelligent way to take care of it. Writing it all off didn’t seem right.  Credit card companies make it so easy to get over your head in debt and make it so hard to get out.  When I heard that we could be debt free including the mortgage in just 8 years and save more than $220,000 in interest, it almost sounded too good to be true, but when they explained the way it worked, it made sense to me we were excited.

I didn’t want to carry a mortgage into retirement and neither did my husband.  Now I get on every month and look at the progress we’ve made and it makes me feel good.  We’ve even found ways to accelerate out plan even further and are one year ahead of schedule!  Now, getting the credit card statements in the mail isn’t stressful for me because I know that everything is getting paid down as quickly as possible and one by one these bills will be gone forever. The (debt plan) has simplified our lives in a big way. I am glad that we did it.”

Barbara and Kelly S. of Green River Wyoming

“We were105K in debt and had our credit cards maxed out, paying the minimum payments. Both my wife and I have good jobs. I work with an international paper company and my wife is with a grocery company. Together we make a great income and tend to ‘live large’. I knew, though, that at this rate we’d always be paying on this debt.  It’s hard to stop thinking, ‘We earned it, let’s enjoy it’. But we were just not making any progress. A credit counseling company told us that to consolidate our credit cards would hurt our credit so she referred us to you.  I was very skeptical and actually didn’t want to do it at first. I took awhile to decide but my wife, who was the one who payed all the bills, was all for it.

Our analyst reassured me with this analogy: ‘Do you have a 401K at work? Do you put the money into it or does your employer? They do. We pay your debt off for you. When you get extra money we apply it directly to your remaining debts’. That helped me to know that this is what we wanted and needed to do. And now we have a plan that gets rid of ALL our debt in 4.1 years instead of over 35! I’ve told a dozen people at work about you; I know they like to live large like I do so I know the plan can help them.  Since being with your company the biggest benefit has been not having to make any payments. With my wife being the one to do it, she’d sit in the chair all night long making out checks to everyone, worrying about it all so I’d even say that your company has helped our marriage out!

Thank you

Chris E of Linden, TX

“I am not a financial analyst. I am not a mathematician. I am a pet groomer and I love it, but I really wanted those other skills to be able to better use any extra money to pay off my debt faster. I contacted a debt management company who referred me to you since I was not behind on anything and my credit was good. After learning about the plan I am still boggled. Oh, (the) explanation of the debt plan and funding was clear and simple enough. There was no confusion and it was all quite easy, actually. I am just baffled that what would’ve taken over 35 years to pay off is now on track to be GONE within 4.5 years!!! You have taken away a lot of stress because I no longer worry about deadlines and I know exactly how to spend my monthly money. I would certainly recommend your company to others, especially if you are stressed about how fast and to where all your hard-earned money goes”.

Nancy N. of Bedford IN

“Things became exceptionally difficult when we accrued high debt due to a job loss.  A friend at church told us about your company and we have appreciated the help getting back on top of our game. There have been some rough spots but (you’ve) helped smooth out any hang-ups through the bumpy times. I am self-employed and do new construction cleaning. We stand to be debt-free 12 years sooner than without your program and with our good credit shining brighter than ever. It is such a relief having you make the payments and we would recommend you to anyone having difficulty controlling or managing their financial situation, or those who simply want to eliminate their debt in a fraction of the time!

Thank you

Renee T. of Hartville, OH

“I had some unforeseen expenses come into my life, (medical expenses, having to buy a home and put a well on the land), forcing me to dig deep into my credit. About this time I heard a radio ad with telling me about how I can consolidate and become debt free sooner than I thought possible. I’m a truck driver, nearly 55 years old, and seldom home. I don’t have time to search for options so I thought, ‘I’ll call and see how they can help me to consolidate’. I knew it would be overwhelming to keep on top of everything and keep making my payments on schedule. I also knew I needed to access more credit.  (They) did great research and I was able to extend my credit line and leave me some cash leftover. I know it took him some extra work in my case, and I really appreciate it.

Things are working out great and I love not having to open and sort mail, or write and mail checks. This simpler process saves me 2-3 hours a month, which is precious time to me, considering I am home so little. I have no more late or missed payments and I can check at any time to see my progress. The good news is that I am on track to be out of debt sooner than my original schedule! For those of you looking to better your financial situation, I want you to know how easy I now have it. It is worth finding out how this will work for you. The whole process is very efficient.

Thank you

Howard L. of Deming, NM

We had planned to get on a debt-settlement program, but fortunately we were referred to you before we started. Doug really understood our whole situation, and it turned out that your program was was great for our family.  We are saving lots of interest and we’re on track to be completely out of debt, in a fraction of the time that it would have taken us on our own.  We’re sure grateful that don’t have to worry about late payments anymore. What used to be such a problem, is all so easy now. We’re glad to be moving in the right direction and it is great that it is so easy to see our progress throughout the program. Keep up the great work.

Daniel and Margaret C.,  Mandan, ND

We really needed some help with our debt and we turned to Credit Counseling. Fortunately, they referred us to you. (You) carefully analyzed our financial situation and got us on a debt plan that will get us completely out of debt in about 8 years, including paying off our home! It’s amazing to see we are going to be debt free in that amount of time.  The online statements are a big help. It is great to see our progress, and we love the flexibility of being able to see the end result of any financial decisions that we might consider. The staff has been very helpful and professional in answering our questions and helping us out.  We are excited to finally being on our way to being completely debt free.

Richard and Gail M., Coleman, WI

“Before starting your program I’d added $46,000 to my credit card debt while helping my son to set up his business. He, unfortunately, wasn’t able to repay it. I was looking for a way to pay it down and was getting weary. Credit counseling people referred me to you because the plans they talked to me about just weren’t for me.  I knew your debt plan would work because the math added up and it made sense to me. I see, now, how it is happening and I will be debt free approx 22 yrs sooner, saving over $360,000 in interest!

I have been extremely satisfied and feel confident knowing that things are handled timely. If I fax a question in I get an email back from them within 24 hrs. Now paying my bills and eliminating my debt feels automatic and I needed that. I didn’t want to be the one writing out the checks to the credit card companies. I like being able to look online and see my progress. It’ll feel so good to have those credit cards gone in three years.  The relief from the mental stress of trying to figure out which debts to pay first and how to pay them down, is tremendous. It is a comfort not having to think about it each month; I love that it all just happens. I am pleased to recommend your company and know that it can help others too”.

Mary Ann W. of Harker Heights, TX

”I called your company because we were about to go bankrupt. When your analyst told me how much money we could save by following their debt plan I thought, ‘OK! We can do this!’ It’s been eight months since beginning the debt plan and already we’ve cut our debt payoff time from 30 years to just 15.2 years!! I’ve been very satisfied with everything and love not having to pay all those bills myself. I make sure there is money in my account on the day they draw their draft and I don’t have to do a thing! To anyone considering this better way, TRY IT! It definitely helped us”.

Delorise T. of Canton, OH

“We found ourselves with significant debt on some credit cards that had pretty high interest rates. We talked to our neighbor in the banking industry and he referred us to your company. It was amazing to see the big savings we were headed for by following the debt plan. It was exciting to see that we could eliminate all our debt in one-third the time we would have without this program. We have been very satisfied and have recommended it to several of our friends. I start talking numbers with them and I tell them our experience–how it is so convenient to have everything taken care of automatically, no more late or missed payments, no more headaches! Our greatest benefit has been having peace of mind because we know nothing gets forgotten when we leave on vacation or simply get too busy.

Thank you,

Brent M. of Meridian, ID

I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE JUST A MOMENT TO LET MYDFPS KNOW HOW MUCH I ENJOY THE NEWSLETTER EACH MONTH.  THERE IS QUITE A BIT OF INFORMATION THAT MANY PEOPLE DONT KNOW.   THE TIPS ARE ALSO VERY HELPFUL.  I WAS AT FIRST NOT QUITE SURE ABOUT THE PROGRAM.  BUT HAVE CHANGED MY THINKING AS I HAVE LEARNED MANY THINGS.  THANK YOU ALSO FOR THE GIFT CARD.   WE DO NOT GET TO GO OUT VERY OFTEN SO IT WAS NICE TO BE ABLE TO GO OUT FOR A CHANGE.

TINA J.

I have been very pleased with your meticulous care of my financial interests and the final result could not be better! At this time the only remaining debt is my mortgage and my brand new car.  You and your company did everything you advertised and in less time.  thank you again for my financial freedom.

Dr. Mark S.

The big thing we have learned is to be disciplined about paying down our credit card debt.  By making sure that we have the dollars there for you to make our payments, we get our debt down.  By having to keep our promise to YOU, someone we know and speak with, it would be highly embarrassing to not meet that obligation.

As for paying off a couple of our credit cards early, the influence of the need to pay off our credit cards, instilled by this program, drove us to sell some sitting investments we had in order to do so and frankly we are breathing alot easier since doing it. As it stands now, our total credit card debt will be paid off in 2015.  We had total credit card debt in excess of $80,000 at the beginning of 2010 and we are paying it all off ourselves.

We thank you and appreciate the life lesson in self-sufficiency, as difficult as it is.  We look forward to our annual review again next year.

The Financial Empowerment program has truly been a blessing to our family!  I heard about the program while listening to the radio one afternoon, and quickly jotted down the number.  I immediately scheduled time for my husband and me to speak with a counselor.  Once we were informed about how the program could help to eliminate our debt, especially our mortgage, I was completely convinced that this program could work for us, but my husband was still a little skeptical because it sounded “too good to be true.”  After further discussions with our counselor, we both knew that we needed to do something and quickly because the amount of “debt to income” ratio was overwhelming, very stressful and a cause for great concern.

We decided to take a leap of faith and a getting involved in this program was on of “the” best decisions we have ever made!!  It was extremely easy to get started in the program. Our counselor walked us through the process and made it very seamless.  We were able to register and view our accounts and how they were going to be handled, I believe within 24-48 hours. Once the process began we no longer had to think about making payments for our credit cards and unsecured debts.  The program has been taking care of all that.  All we have to do is make sure that the money is in the account and The Financial Empowerment program would disperse the agreed upon amounts to our various debtors on time and no worries on our end.  Our various creditors no longer call us about missing or late payments.  The money is debited from our account by the program at the same time every month and if they are ever any changes to be made we are contacted by our counselor.  The great part is when we receive notice that one or more of our debts are paid off or close to being paid off.  That is a very exciting and exhilarating feeling to know and see that the program really does work!!

We know that we are getting so much closer to being able to save more money towards our children’s education, put more money aside for our emergency fund and the fact that our mortgage will be paid off so much sooner is just really a blessing to us.  An extreme weight has been lifted from us, in that were cognizant of the fact that we needed to get a handle on getting our finances back in order as well as being able to pay our bills in a timely manner and the Debt Free Elimination program has been so instrumental in assisting us to do just that.  We have and will continue to refer this program to our family and friends because it truly has been a great support mechanism for us financially.  We look to forward to being “debt free” in the near future and we are so thankful to the program for making that dream a reality.

Thank you for the invitation to share our story about our experience with the Debt Elimination Program.  Here our answers to your questions and a brief narrative about our experience.  Feel free to use all or part of the information.

1. Our experience with the program has been excellent.

2.  We could see how a budget would work, how our debt would decrease and see an end to the tunnel.

3. Financial security for us and our children who may or may not need our assistance in the future.

4.  We have felt a great deal of relief.  We now know we have all our debt covered and it is reducing rapidly.  It is a great feeling.

5. We are on a real budget for the first time in many years.  We are now in charge of our resources.

6. Setting up the program was very easy.  What we liked was the free assessment that helped us see that we could continue spending the same money and make real progress on our debt with just a few small sacrifices.

7. We have had two or three times we needed to make minor changes.  It is easy.  Two were because we got rid of some debt.  The resources were quickly applied to the next bill and it is shrinking very quickly too.

8. The automation lets us know where and when bills will be paid, we do not have to write checks, buy stamps or worry about late payments.

9.  We do recommend the service to others all the time.  We are excited about the $88K interest savings and the early payoff on our home.

10.  While we still have some debt, we have never felt more in control of our financial future and recognize that we are going to reach our financial goals.

We retired early but we did not adjust our budget to our fixed income.  Instead we took another job to increase our income, bought a car, got real generous with our children and friends.  Credit was easy and as we reached our maximums, the credit card companies were only too happy to raise our limits.  We never had so much income and so we were not too concerned.  Suddenly the second job went away without notice.  We had more debt than we needed. And Social Security and the Treasury department wanted some of that “easy money” back  The credit card companies said we could still use the cards but our interest rates would increase. We suddenly found ourselves only able to make minimum payments. We were very uncomfortably in debt and felt like near financial collapse.

We saw all kind of ads for debt reduction but did not like the sound of reducing debt by consolidation or stopping payment and negotiation.  We had tried debt consolidation before and only ended up with more debt, the latter sounded like total destruction of our credit and a bit dishonest because we had incurred our debt honestly, intending to pay it back.  Added to our frustration was the fact that our goals were to be financially free and be able to establish a trust for our twin daughters who have MS.  Both are married but we don’t know the future.  One got rid of a husband who was not a provider or supportive of her illness and recovery.  We wanted to create a situation where they would not have to worry about finances or have a place to live if their illness progressed or they were left to fend for themselves.. We saw that goal slipping from our grasp.

We learned about (the program).  We were offered a free assessment, just plug in our numbers.  What we got in return was eye opening.  The report showed us how to apply the same money we were already paying out more efficiently; where each monthly payment would go to pay off our debt more quickly and then how to establish that trust fund that we so badly wanted.  We signed up immediately.

The results have been terrific.  In the past few months we have eliminated two debts that are now being applied else where  We see our total debt decreasing monthly which only improves our credit worthiness.  Changes are simple and easy to make, one credit card company erroneously lost our payment and our counselor, Christian and others on the staff went to bat for us, and helped us clear up the discrepancy with very little support or cooperation from the company that made the error in the first place. What a great relief it is to know that we will not have any late payments, nor stamps to buy,or have to worry about things getting stolen or lost in the mail. Everything is automatic and stress free.

Our financial goals are no longer dreams that we hope will fall in place someday.  We now have a working plan that brings them closer to completion every day. We are grateful to have found this program and the blessing it has been in our lives.

Thank You, John and Shary S.

I would tell everyone to get started as soon as possible. We were concerned and probably drove (our account manager) crazy, but he finally convinced us.  Hopefully we will be thru with the program and have everything paid for in 5 years or less.  I am stress less.  Every month I would be worried about getting the money in time to get the bills paid on time and have no late charges and phone calls.  Some months other things came up and the phone calls drove me crazy.  We now have a much better feel for saving and spending.

It is very important now to not buy anything that is not absolutely necessary and save all we can.  The automation had been great.  I can call DFPS anytime or get on line and know exactly where we stand.  They have been great to help in any way they can.  I would recommend this program to one and all.  I just wish that we had done it two or three years sooner.  It is a wonderful feeling as each bill is paid in full and that money goes against the next one so you are doubling and tripling payments on the next item.

GO FOR IT.    Jeri

The biggest benefit for our family – was the peace of mind that we didn’t have to wonder if our bills had been paid. We have four kids, and both my husband and I are in school full time. It was difficult to know who paid the bills and when! Now we leave it up to our system.  Besides the peace of mind – we know that our future is looking brighter since we will be debt free!

This program takes the stress out of financial planning. We don’t have degrees in how to manage our money – we needed help with this and a plan to be debt free. We can now plan for our retirement knowing that we will enter it without debt. We have a real person to talk to that understands our plan and our life.

Have you noticed a difference in the amount of stress in your life?  Absolutely! We, like many people, were affected by the economy. We didn’t have to make choices as to what to pay – we had a plan and we work that plan.

Our spending habits have changed. We don’t live pay check to pay check anymore. Our money is working for us in reducing our debt and we see real progress. We had to learn how to use our money to our advantage and our specialist helped to teach us that.

This program was very easy to set up the program. We listed our bills and looked at our income – the specialists helped us to decide the right direction to go in.  Now we had to make changes as we adopted three children in the middle of our plan. We had to adjust the amounts we paid until we understood how adding to our family would have an impact. Our specialist understood and helped us to set up a reasonable plan. The best part is that you have control over your plan.  Your plan becomes a habit – and good habits are the only way to reduce your debt.

Bob and Colleen

I’m writing this to tell you that I feel as though a weight has been lifted off my shoulders!  And I still can hardly believe it, I almost have to pinch myself.

This year has been a real tough one for us, and it seemed like no matter how hard we tried, no matter how hard we worked, no matter what we did…we could never seem to get ahead!

I was to the point where I would sometimes wake up at 2am in the morning thinking, “did I mail that credit card bill off?”  You know, it’s tough to juggle 13 bills a month, not only cause it was over $3,500 (I couldn’t even tell you the exact amount anymore) every month, but when I found out that the daycare was going up, I knew I couldn’t juggle that too.

I knew something had to change.  We just couldn’t go on like that.

Oh, and like that isn’t enough?  Earlier this year, 1 of our cars got totaled (not our fault, but do you think the insurance company cared?) and of course there was a mix-up with the insurance and the short of it was we ended up continuing to make payments on the wrecked car AND the new car payment.  On our money, this wasn’t possible.

So pinch me again, because now all that is gone.  I never in a million years would have believed that we could get out from under the $54,838 of credit card debt we were in.  It would have taken the better part of the rest of our lives to pay it all back “their” way.  I like your way better.  You are getting us completely out of debt—the credit cards, both cars, and the house in just 14.7 years and saving us $77,159 in the processOh, and the best part is our bills are $502 less than they were before!  I don’t know how you did it, but you managed to pull it off.

They say that today is the first day of the rest of your life.  Today is the first day of the rest of my life, and it’s a life worth living, now.

I never thought I would be writing a letter like this because I didn’t think I would actually ever be in a position to say the things I’m about to say…

I’m not used to being in debt.  But, 4 years ago, I found myself on the short-end of a divorce.  The ex got my house, my kids—I got a hefty child support bill.  I’m not complaining.  I love my kids, but things like this make a tough life even tougher.

So now, I have to find a place to live.  I found a “fixer-upper” I could afford, but since it took most of what money I had left after the divorce just to get the house, I didn’t have anything left to “do the fixing.”

That’s where all the credit card debt came from.  Me and Susan combined had $64,579 we owed, which was nearly all from doing the house.  Don’t get me wrong, this house has been a great investment (and putting a roof over our head), but I knew we could lose everything we’d worked so hard for if I didn’t deal with the credit card debt and let it get away from me.

I’m no dummy—I constructed my own plan to get out of debt, doing what I thought was the right thing to do.  Making all my payments on time, even making extra payments to get it all paid off faster.  But, I guess this stuff is more complicated than I thought.  Just reading a book, going to some silly website, or whatever just isn’t enough to make sure this all gets done.

That’s what I did and I wasn’t getting anywhere.  And that’s what brought me to you.  I’m always looking for a better way, and with you, I found it.

I appreciate the care and understanding of how you dealt with my situation.  I had tried to deal with others over the past couple years to get my problem fixed, but without naming names, they didn’t help.  Looking back, I guess I should have asked more questions, but I didn’t.

This time, I asked—you answered.  You had a print-out of your way, compared it to my way, and even compared it to the way the bank’s wanted me to pay it off.  Of course, the bank’s way was putting me in the poor-house.  I feel better at least knowing my way was better than the bank, so I knew I was on the right track, but your way just blew everything else away, making this a no-brainer!

Here is the long and short of it.  I had 28 years left to pay on my mortgage and a couple of the credit cards were going to take even longer to payoff, something like 32 years.  Well, now everything will be done and paid for in just over 16 years, including my house and those other credit cards.  That’s 12 years sooner.  Its also going to save me $147,866.22 in interest and even more in payments I won’t have to make.  Its almost like getting my house for free now.

Thanks a million, and I mean that literally!

Thanks so much for your help.  I can’t believe it has been nearly a year since we started working on this.  Even though I still need to look at my accounts periodically, it makes it so much easier for me to have that all come out at once.  It is much less of a headache than it used to be!  Now, if my utility bills would just be so easy…!

Godspeed,

Betty

The biggest benefit to enrolling in the program was ridding myself of the constant knot in my stomach. With a mortgage, 2 car loans & about 40K in credit card debt every month was getting harder & harder to make it through. I have a great job & make more than enough to cover our expenses, but hated budgeting & paying bills, so late fees began higher interest rates and double payments turned into minimum payments.

I can’t say enough about what this means to my family. I had 2 young kids when we started almost three years ago and we had another this year. I can say with full confidence that we will never lose our house, will continue to live within our means, be able to purchase with cash all our daily staples and provide for anything I’d like my family to have, including 3 college educations. Most importantly, I will have savings to cover any life changes or emergencies! You can’t buy that peace of mind or in my case a stomach without ulcers!

On a day to day, I’m a much better person knowing the debt is being taken care of and we are well on our way to a debt free life. I can plan family vacations, let the kids participate in sports and other events & still spend a little on the fun stuff now & then.

My kids are learning about money and how to make the best decisions about it. At 7 & 5, my two oldest are saving their change for our vacation this year and they came up with the plan on their own!

My husband & I have so much less stress. There’s no more arguing about money, no hidden spending, & no guilt about the cost of something. We continue our weekly talks, discuss future spending & are constantly reworking our “what we want to do” in 3, 5 & 10 years. We really talk about those things and it’s helped us grow stronger as a couple. We are more understanding when one of us slips and more encouraging about crossing off each other’s list.

The biggest difference for me as the bill payer is that I can check my accounts without fear, happily look at the balances on my credit cards and actually find it satisfying to continually look for ways to save more money.

My old spending habits were horrible, and I’m not even sure you could call my spending a habit, it was just buy what you want, when you want and then freak out later.

I learned planned spending. I budget each paycheck with every cost I can think of and balance my spending weekly, if not, daily. My whole life has changed. I manage my money, it doesn’t manage me. Most of what I need to spend is pretty much fixed costs, so it’s easy. Other periodic costs are budgeted when appropriate & costs for everything else are adjusted.

I’ve learned to be realistic about my spending as well. Kid’s birthday parties are a good example. I went all out with the place, food & goodie bags. Then, we’d invite family & friends back after for a post party with more food & fun. When looking over what I spent on these events, I realized how unnecessary it was and how much I’d rather spend that money on something else. Groceries, ordering dinner out, stopping for quick pick ups at the more expensive store, it all became obvious when we really analyzed our finances. Wow! I spent how much on that? My most surprising discovery was realizing that 1 snack and a soda from the snack machine at work each day was costing me about $75 a month! I still tell the regular snackers that fact when I see them hitting the machine!

Setting up the program was scary, but it was pretty easy work. The people at working for the Debt Elimination Program understood that the gathering of all your info was daunting and that the program might look overwhelming. But, everyone was so supportive, they made it simple. From gathering all your bills to adjusting your payment schedules to changing your spending habits, someone was with me every step of the way. I got hints on saving steps & time and they provided the tools to analyze my spending and the resources to assist in the creation of my plan.

I don’t want to scare anyone and say it’s hard to make these changes because the debt elimination program makes it easy for you, but it is work. The worst is figuring out all your expenses, it’s like tax time all over again, but then that’s it. My first year was scary as my plan was ambitious, but as with any habit, the more I repeated the good spending & planning habits I learned, the easier it becomes. We still slip now & then, but now we quickly forgive & recover.

The specific changes were harder to find then change. Analyzing my grocery bill for a few months was not a job I wanted to do, but I found lots of money that I didn’t need to spend and that was fun!

The mindset of good financial planning is still the hardest thing for us to do. It’s still a work in progress because I am constantly funding savings and discovering other bad behaviors. I still want to buy that camper that I saw for sale down the block, but now I know it has to become part of the plan. But, knowing that I can do that without increasing my debt or draining my savings, makes it easy to do!

In less than 3 years, I’ve paid off 4 credit cards and will have them all paid off this year. I’ve already saved my family over $20,000 in finances charges. Next year, we’ll pay off our car loans. And in a total of 6.7 years, I’ll be completely debt free with a lifetime savings of over 200K! The Debt Elimination Program saved our lives!

The payment administrators have been very good to work with whenever we have needed to make changes to things.  Things are progressing nicely.

Thank you for the follow up. We had made terrific progress using the debt elimination system.  We went from having substantial credit card debt to no credit card debt, and we paid off one of our vehicles as well as an expensive tractor 2 years early.  We still have a truck, house and a tractor payment (different tractor) but we are in a much better financial position than we were prior to starting the program.

I would not hesitate to do the program again if we got to that point, but the knowledge and discipline I gained from the program will prevent that from happening again under normal circumstances. When we started we were lucky because our income was more than sufficient to cover our bills, but we lacked the focus and discipline to get these debts paid off.  That was how the debt elimination program helped us the most.  My wife and I appreciate the help your company provided because it has allowed us the opportunity to offer more to our sons and each other rather than giving our hard earned income to creditors.

Take care,

Phil W., IL

Good afternoon Shauna,

You are correct!!  My (name brand) Credit Card will be paid off in two more payments!!    This plan’s has made it easier for me, since things have been a little bit tight financially.  I would have spent that money on other things.  This causes me to use more discipline.  I have had emergencies, that had slowed down the process a little bit, but it is still working out well.  Take care.

I have 5 more payments and my van will be paid for!  I know we are close to paying off one of the credit cards that we pay over $300.00 a month on and that is a good feeling.  Can’t wait to start snowballing.  It is nice to have the bills on a schedule so I don’t have to try to keep up with paying them all.

Things are going really well and we are excited to see lots of bills be eliminated.  I enjoy not having to write out so many bills and not have to keep track of them.  It is nice to know we are down to 4 of the bills that you are helping us with.

Thanks.

Things are going very well with the program and we were able to accelerate a few of the payoffs and to accelerate the plan somewhat. We are looking forward to accelerating things even further so that we can put ourselves in position to achieve our goals for the long term. I only wish that I had gotten into a program like this much earlier in my life. I hope that all is well with you as well.

Well, things are going great.  It is good getting bills paid.  I love seeing the big payments going on the outstanding bills. They go down so fast once we start paying more than the interest.

The payment administrators have been being very helpful and keeping me up to date when things are paying off.

Thanks, I am glad we found you.
